Aaron Rudolf is a successful business owner that somehow is able to juggle his family responsibilities with the needs of his business and his passion for diesel motorsports. On the diesel motorsports side he is one of the principals of the Outlaw Diesel Super Series and hosts two of the largest diesel events in the country. As if that wasn’t enough he also finds time to slip behind the wheel and compete in his custom 2008 Ford F-250 as well.
Rudolf and his team put the first Power Stroke truck into the 9’s on the dragstrip and have also laid claim to the most powerful Power Stroke truck and their 2WD Power Stroke truck is now the world’s fastest Power Stroke truck as well. He competes in sanctioned diesel drag races with his 4WD F-250 on a regular basis and was also one of the original Ultimate Callout Challenge competitors with the truck finishing reasonably well on the dyno and drag competitions before suffering a catastrophic failure that kept them out of the sled pull competition in 2016 but still left the Rudy’s Performance Parts team with a solid 17th place finish overall. For the 2017 UCC the Rudy’s team came back strong with an 11th place finish on the drag strip with a hurt engine before laying down over 1,100 horsepower on the chassis dyno with ZERO oil pressure before the engine seized. The team thrashed on the truck replacing the engine overnight after the dyno and reconfiguring the truck for the sled pull where Rudolf pulled the sled nearly 250-feet to secure 9th place overall.
To deliver UCC worthy power levels with his 6.4L Power Stroke engine the Rudy’s team went through the engine building it with the best parts they could and capped it off with a massive triple turbo compound setup that resides in front of the engine and fires the highly compressed intake charge into a custom machined manifold. The 2016/2017 engine package has delivered nearly 2,000 HP on the chassis dyno in competition with more than 3,000 lbs-ft of torque. It is backed by a Dodge 48RE transmission to handle the high output Power Stroke and provide crisp shifts through the gears on the dragstrip throughout the year.
Not willing to rest of his laurels and wanting to continue to push the performance levels of his Power Stroke diesel machine Rudolf and his Rudy’s team plan to completely rework the truck in the off season to significantly improve every aspect of the truck. They will not be satisfied with mid-pack performance and expect to deliver even more power to the rear wheels, quicker time on the drag strip and to drag the sled further down the track at the 2018 UCC. Knowing the amazing work the team has delivered in the past we have high expectations for the next revision and look forward to seeing what Rudolf and his Ford will deliver in Indianapolis on May 4th-6th 2018 at the third annual Ultimate Callout Challenge!
